Who are the Legends?

HomePage

Former West Virginia University standout and professional basketball player Wellington Smith founded the Unity Legends in 2012. Wellington won a 2010 Big East Championship with WVU and played against Duke in the 2010 Final Four.

Wellington’s goal is to provide the best experience for all those that come in contact with the program. The Unity Legends is an organization of committed sports professionals that strive to be the best youth sports provider in the country. Our programs include skill development training, camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments, teams and other events.

The Unity Legends pride themselves on three key things:

Development

We want to make sure that when your player leaves our program they can handle their own in their winter league or summer league.

Experience

We want to provide our athletes with memories that will last a life time. That could be going on a road trip or listening to a motivational speaker.

Exposure

We want to expose our athletes to other teams and players that will make them better players. We'll challenge them just enough. Whether it's getting them in front of college coaches or just playing within a different comfort level, we'll provide them with that opportunity.
